The Hans Fahden Winery was founded in 1986 by Antone and Lyall Fahden. They are the third generation of Fahdens to occupy the land purchased by their grandfather, Hans Fahden, in 1912. Their journey to restore the land following the years of hardship of prohibition and the Great Depression has taken twenty years. They cleared brush, built roads, planted vineyards, carved out a wine cave, created two ponds and planted an abundance of exotic plants and flowers.
